WNS/CWNS Oil/Gas-Fired Pressurized/Atmospheric Hot Water Boiler

Model / Series WNS / CWNS

A three-pass wet-back hot-water boiler, with CWNS atmospheric models rated 0.35–7 MW and WNS pressurized models rated 0.7–14 MW.

Atomized fuel burns in the corrugated furnace. Gas passes from the reversal chamber into the second-pass threaded tubes, turns at the front smokebox into third-pass plain tubes, then passes the rear smokebox, condensing economizer and chimney. Fully automatic intelligent controls are provided.

The tables separately list WNS pressurized and CWNS atmospheric hot-water models. Heat output and supply/return temperatures should be selected from the appropriate model table.

Design and features

Hinged smokebox

A hinged smokebox supports inspection and cleaning while improving sealing.

Corrugated furnace

Corrugations increase heating surface and disturb gas flow for heat transfer, improve furnace flexibility and strength, and reduce thermal-expansion stress.

Threaded smoke tubes

Threaded tubes increase heating area and flue-gas residence time within limited space. Heat-transfer performance is 1.3 times that of ordinary smoke tubes.

Condenser

Uses flue-gas heat to warm inlet water and lower exhaust temperature. Finned tubes and ND steel increase area and resist low-temperature corrosion.

Calculation basis: lower heating values of 8400 kcal/Nm³ for natural gas and 10250 kcal/kg for diesel. Y denotes oil firing and Q denotes gas firing.
